Biological Information

  • Product Name
    Endoxifen HCl
  • Note
Research use only, not for human use.
  • Brief Description
Endoxifen HCl is the active metabolite of Tamoxifen, which is an effective and selective estrogen receptor antagonist.
  • Description
Z-Endoxifen HCl is an estrogen receptor alpha (ERalpha) ligand, potent antiestrogen, and metabolite of tamoxifen. Z-endoxifen is the most potent of the metabolites of tamoxifen, and has the potential to be more effective than tamoxifen because it bypasses potential drug resistance mechanisms attributable to patient variability in the expression of the hepatic microsomal enzyme CYP2D6.
